The City of Gulfport and the City of St. Petersburg businesses in the 49th St. district are encouraged to showcase their businesses at no charge for the 49th St. S. Celebration on Saturday, May 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Businesses may set up a tent or table on the Tangerine Greenway (located at 18th Ave. S. between 49th St. S. and 52nd St. S.) to present what your business does to the Gulfport and St. Petersburg communities. A parade of unity will kick off the event at 10 a.m. staging at the parking lot of the Winn- Dixie (corner of 49th Street and 22nd Ave. S.) to lead to the Gulfport Neighborhood Center (1617 49th St. S.) then proceeding on with the festivities at the Tangerine Greenway (Along 18th Ave. S. Between 49th St. S. and 52nd St. S.) until 3 p.m. We invite all to come and enjoy this grassroots opportunity to come together with local businesses.
