2013 Gulfport Hurricane Seminar
Join Tom Iovino, Public Information Specialist Pinellas County Communications, hurricane related vendors and the City of Gulfport for the 2013 Hurricane Seminar on Thursday, May 23 at 7 p.m. at the Catherine Hickman Theater (5501 27th Avenue S., Gulfport). The seminar, “Does it take a Category 5?” will focus on hurricane intensity and why that shouldn’t be the only factor you use when deciding to prepare for a storm.
The Senior Center Foundation snack bar, adjacent to the Theater, will open at 5 p.m. They are running a special: 2 slices of pizza and a drink for $3 so you can come early to view the vendors before the seminar begins. Vendors open at 6 p.m. and the Seminar starts at 7 p.m.
Admission to this event is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Justin Shea, Technical Events Specialist for the City of Gulfport, at 727-893-1118.
