BPW to Meet

During this all-important election year, the St. Petersburg/Pinellas local organization of Business and Professional Women (BPW) proudly presents a panel of distinguished women addressing the question: Why do state and federal elections matter to working women?  The event will take place Tuesday, February 28, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Marriott St Petersburg Clearwater, 12600 Roosevelt Blvd., St. Petersburg.

Well-known political consultant Dr. Susan MacManus, USF, will moderate the event which includes three panelists: Deborah Clark, Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections; Democrat Nina Hayden, former Pinellas County School Board member and current Attorney and Assistant Director of Academic Success & Bar Preparation Services at Stetson School of Law; and Republican Karen Williams Seel, Pinellas County Commissioner.

The format of the program will include networking opportunities, a panel forum and discussion, and one-on-one interaction with the panelists.

Attendance will be limited, so purchase your $15 tickets soon. Tickets are available on the BPW website, www.bpwstpetepinellas.org.
