Caddy's Comes to Gulfport?

A new investor wants to sink $250,000 into the Aquabella’s property at the corner of Shore and Beach Boulevards, according to Vice Mayor Dan Liedtke. However, the investor wants to add a package store into the property, which would function as a “well-designed” restaurant. Council would have to look at the 1992 ordinance that does not allow liquor stores or bars in the Waterfront Redevelopment District.

Vice Mayor Liedtke would not name the investor, but local businessman (and not a regular attendee of Gulfport council meetings) Tony Amico attended the meeting, although he did not speak. State records list Mr. Amico as the registered agent and manager for T I Holdings/Gulf Sands Properties LLC, the company that owns Caddy’s on Sunset Beach, submerged land in Treasure Island, and vacant land on Treasure Island, according to the Pinellas County Property Appraiser.
