Housekeeping Items at City Hall

 

•The city did not receive Community Development Block Grant funding for Trolley Market Square Park.

•Gulfport contracted with M.T. Causely to provide additional building services (such as inspections) temporarily. The city expects to contract with M.T. Causely “to get through the budget process” due to “increased development activity,” according to City Manager Jim O’Reilly. Costs will not exceed $35,000.

•Council approved a conditional use for indoor scooter repair and outside storage at Scooter Rescue Repair. The property owner, Rick Yarrington, will have to build a wood fence around the property.
