Saturday morning, four local authors gathered at the St. Pete Beach library to speak about their writing process and read from their work. Antonio Fabiano, a former public information officer for the military who now teaches high school broadcasting in Palmetto and lives in Tierra Verde, talked about his relationship with writing.
“Somebody asked me when I started writing fiction, and I said, ‘When I was working for the Pentagon’,” Fabiano joked with the crowd. He went on to explain that while he always enjoyed writing, he struggled as a reader.
The Friends of the Library sponsored the event.
