Long-awaited marina improvements took a first step Tuesday night at Gulfport City Council. City Council voted to spend just over $48,000 for construction services, design, and project administration, of the new live aboard facility and a renovation to the existing ship store.
City council voted to pay Renker, Eich,Parks, Architects to design the new building. The two-story building will not have any living space on the first floor to satisfy code requirements. The building will have an elevator.
