Multi-Family Docks Can Rebuild


PASS-A-GRILLE–  When two multi-family-zoned lots had their docks damaged during Tropical Storm Debby last summer, the owners discovered that the current zoning – Residential Low Medium 2, or RLM 2– wouldn’t permit them to rebuild the multiuse docks (also called “Class B” docks in the city’s land development code.) RLM2, doesn’t allow for those particular type of docks.

Commissioners voted unanimously to change the land development code to allow for Class B docks in the RLM 2 zones
