RV Exemptions in Gulfport

If you have an RV that doesn't meet Gulfport codes, you can keep it – as long as you don't move, and you can't get another one that doesn't comply with the current codes. Council voted – with the exception of Ward Four Councilman Michael Fridovich, who voted against the ordinance– Tuesday night to allow non-compliant RVs to remain, but only RVs that exist in the city now qualify for those exemptions at their current properties.

This applies to RVs 23 feet and longer; Class B RVs do not fall under this code. To read the ordinance as city council passed it, please click here.
