Suncoast AIDS Theatre Project presents “Prelude to Pride: Blown by the Wind” on Monday, June 24, at 7:30 p.m. at American Stage Theatre, 163 Third Street N. in downtown St. Petersburg. This is an original adaptation by T. Scott Wooten as a hilarious and naughty sendup of the fabled classic film “Gone With The Wind” and stars Matt McGee, as Scarlet; Sharon Scott as Mammy, Joey Panek as Ashley; Betty Jane Parks as Melanie; Chris Jackson as Rhett; Sara DelBeato as Belle; and Joe Parra as Mr. O’Hara.
T. Scott Wooten adapted the story and Michael Raabe will accompany the cast at the keyboard. All performers are donating their time and talents for this production. These two performances will benefit PWA (People with AIDS) programs at Metropolitan Charities of Pinellas.
