Sign Ordinance Changes in Time For Election

This election season, candidates shouldn’t have any problem displaying their signs, regardless of who else has a sign on the same property. City Council– three seats of which are impacted this election season by the decision – voted Tuesday night to allow properties to display more than one candidate’s sign.

This issue came up last year during the Ward One race, with current councilman Dan Liedtke took issue with the city’s interpretation of the existing ordinance to mean that the city would not permit more than one sign per property.
