So Classic Car Show
Come one, come all to the So Classic Car Show this weekend, February 2nd. Located on the Tangerine Greenway and presented by the South 49th Street Business Association, Bright House Networks, Tyrone Square Mazda, Wal-Mart Stores, The Gabber, The City of Gulfport and the City of St. Petersburg and sponsored by PIPO’s Cuban Restaurant, Coke Bottling, Spotlight Amusement, O’Maddy’s Bar and Grill, Mr. Bills Fine Foods, The Storage House, DRICI, JSR Training, Sun Star Ambulance, Safety Tire, Zoomers Auto Body, FMG Mario Frias, FlaCarShows.com, 007 Computer solutions, South West Florida MOPAR and Local Shops1.
The car show runs from 9 to 3 and fun for the entire family. They have the classic cars from the 1920’s to the brand new provided by Tyrone Square Mazda. They have the BCHS Jazz ensemble, “The Hot Tub Club” and the “Urban Gypsies” providing music all day. They have food from Cuban to ribs, pulled pork to hamburgers, fresh lemonade, McDonalds smoothies and, of course, the all time favorite funnel cakes provided by Mr. Bills Fine Foods. They have carnival rides and moon walks, games and more provided by Spotlight Amusements. Finally they have added R/C racing and a very special round of racing for the kids that got their new R/C Racing cars for Christmas, special races just for you and dad. Great day of fun and music for all. Remember this is a charity event to raise money for the Fallen Officers Fund to make sure the children of officers lost in the line of duty get to go to college.
