Special Pickup Fees to Increase in Gulfport

Special pickup fees could increase in Gulfport. Currently special waste pickup of a single item costs $11.25; a “white goods” pickup (appliances like washing machines and dryers) costs $22.50 If council votes approval a second and final time to raise the rates at the September 18 meeting, those fees will increase to $17 and $34, respectively.
