Q: How many public restrooms does the city have on the beach, and what are the chances it could install more?
A: Saint Pete Beach has bathrooms in three locations: Upham Beach, the county-run park across from the Publix, and Pass-a-Grille.
“I anticipate we will spend time in the near future looking to increase the facilities at Pass-A-Grille due to the large number of public parking spaces and visitors to the area,” City Manager Mike Bonfield said, adding: “Like all capital expenditures, the timing for construction will come down to available funding and competing priorities.”
