St. Pete Beach Budget Input

Q: How can residents make suggestions about the budget? Does the city have some specific way of taking input?

A: St. Pete Beach has a Finance and Budget Review Committee that will meet between two and three times in July. These meetings, open to the public, allow people to speak and give their ideas. Typically, City Manager Mike Bonfield says, the city commission will do the same thing in August. Finally, the commission will hold two budget adoption meetings in September; these two meetings also allow for public input specifically about the budget.
