St. Pete Beach Legal Costs Top $56,000 for December

 
According to city records, St. Pete Beach paid Bryant Miller Olive over $56,000 in legal fees for work performed in December 2011. Among other items, Bryant Miller Olive billed for the following work and reimbursements:

$5,108 for city legal fees (a $5,000 retainer plus expenses)

$45,863.73 for the Jim Anderson lawsuit*

$2,748.15 for the Coconut Inn lawsuit (plaintiff represented by Jackson Bowman)

$2,145.46 for Bruce Kadoura’s lawsuits*

$307.50 for preparing for threatened litigation*

$143.50 for Ron Holehouse case (plaintiff represented by David Bacon)

$102.50 for Walter Sowa, Jr.’s lawsuit (plaintiff represented by John Thomas)

$28.10 for Bill Pyle’s lawsuits*


*$48,344.79 paid to clients represented by Ken Weiss


These fees included billable hours, long distance calls to St. Pete Beach, making photocopies, and office expenses. Bryant Miller Olive is based in north Florida.

the residents should also be furious with the City's inability to play nice with everyone - not just their pals. The rose colored glasses come off quickly for anyone they deem "against SOLV"

Weiss has not won a single lawsuit against the city of SPB and it is pretty much assured he will lose the Anderson case. The residents of SPB should be furious with Weiss and the trained monkeys that have hired him and wasted so much of the taxpayers dollars.
